Drawing and painting since I could hold a pencil, I've practiced the use of traditional media my entire life. In 1992, I was accepted to The ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California, as an Illustration major. However, I was not eligible for financial aid and never attended. Within two years of that milestone, I acquired my first personal computer. Beginning with Photoshop 2.0, I've made digital image editing and graphic design an integral part of my daily routine for almost ten years. My design sensibilities build on and benefit from my years of traditional media training. I currently make my home on the island of Maui, and am essentially on sabbatical from digital design. I will consider projects that really grab me emotionally, but otherwise, I'm re-focusing my energies toward traditional media once more. a
