During the process of building this site, I've struggled to categorize my work. Certain things seem to fit in more than one place. The images that follow are like that. A bunch of them are Photshop compositions that were commissioned by a company called Entertainment Construction Services in Las Vegas. For these, I was provided blueprints along with front elevation drawings for the various sets. After meeting with them, I just imagined what the sets might look like, attempting to draw three dimensional stage pieces without the aid of 3D software, other than Poser which I used for some of the figures. The results were kind of strange, but fun. Also, I've included here some "digi-painted" illustrations, using Studio Artist 2.0. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, since about 1995, I've done very little traditional media work, and even more unfortunate is the quality of the remaining photography of my work. Although my computer design skills have afforded me the opportunity to make a living doing creative work, I certainly miss the practice that had consumed my life's focus up to late '94. I will post my most recent work toward the top, of which I think there are only a couple of drawings newer than 2001. Additionally, I've included some digital drawings or illustrations as the lines between computer aided and totally hand drawn have begin to blur for me. If it was drawn holding a mouse, is it less a drawing? In any case, there is some of that included as well, and I'm confident you can tell which is which. Any questions, feel free to contact me. I am open to all types of commissions.

The pen & ink drawing at left was done sometime in 1989, I think. I discovered the 'fantasy' genre of novels in 11th grade with Terry Brook's Shannara series. I then did lots of wizards and that sort of thing. This photograph, and not a very good one at that, is all that remains as evidence that I ever took the time to stipple anything. ©1989
